What's New: Cross Platform Support: Prism Patch Manager now supports patch management on machines running Red Hat Linux and Solaris.

(Red Hat Linux version 7.3, 8 and 9; Solaris version 8 and 9)
Patch Rollback: Prism Patch Manager now allows the administrator to roll back single or multiple patches to the previous configuration. A new Uninstall wizard can rollback patches immediately or scheduled them to occur at a later time.
Scan by IP Range: Prism Patch Manager can now discover and locate computers within a defined IP range or subnet making it easier to manage machines that aren't a part of a domain.
Manage Multiple Master Agents: Administrators can now easily manage multiple Master Agents simultaneously using a new dropdown menu in the Console, for easier management.
Reboot Notification: Administrators can now warn users prior to their systems being patched or rebooted.
Automatic Leaf Agent Updates: Prism Patch Manager now allows automatic upgrading for Leaf Agents. Upon first contact with a new Master Agent, each Leaf Agent will automatically be upgraded, making Prism Patch Manager easier to use and maintain.
Improved Reporting: Prism Patch Manager 6.3 now shows accurate deployment status and deployment history information for better insight into patching status.
Database Size Reduction: The Prism Patch Manager patch database has been optimized to reduce the information transferred to sites and the memory it requires. Customers will experience faster downloads and updates to Leaf Agents.
Microsoft Project: Prism Patch Manager 6.3 now supports patches for Microsoft Project.
Swedish Language: Prism Patch Manager 6.3 now supports Swedish language operating system and Internet Explorer patches.

What's New: With this release, patch deployment coverage is further improved through Leaf-Agent modifications that support the patching of disconnected machines.
You may now save alternate credentials for Leaf-Agents (including disconnected machines), as well as Agentless machines.
The Prism Patch Manager patch repository has been made more flexible. Also, Microsoft patch names and repository names can now be easily cross-referenced in the "detail pane"..
You may now deploy Custom Fixes to Leaf-Agent machines.
Version 6.2 reporting now allows better filtering to enable reporting on selected machines, domains, groups and profiles eliminating redundant reporting of the same machine in multiple areas of the report.

What's New: Packaged Updates - supports disconnected networks by creating a portable install from a connected management console.
New and improved Export Table - combines the machines report with conformance information. The export table is designed for queries and trend analysis.
Orphan Leaf Agent improvements - if a Master Agent is moved or its server renamed the settings for the Leaf Agents and other important settings can be saved and transferred.
Custom Fixes feature now supports user-defined validation criteria (file and registry-based). You can be certain that your customized fixes are installed and valid.
Prism Patch Manager has a new feature for file validation of a patch. In addition to testing for file size and checksum, we offer the unique ability to manage file versions within patches.
All components (including agents) are secured using encrypted communications.
The database is checked for validity by Cyclic Redundancy Code (CRC) to ensure that everything is proper.
Alternate Credentials may be specified for accessing remote machines. This means that an Administrator does not have to be logged in as the Administrator to query machines or deploy patches using Prism Patch Manager. The Administrator can delegate access rights to individuals with greater control and in finer detail.
Active Directory is fully supported. You can use the Organizational Units (OUs) as designated by the Administrator to manage your machines more efficiently.
Profiles make it simple to identify the machines you want to manage by OS, Service Pack level or patch level.
User Defined Groups help you to arrange combinations of machines any way you like.
Central Patch Repository allows you to assign one or more network shares as a patch repository for one or more master agents.
Research View uses a tree view. This makes the search for a patch a lot easier. With thousands of available patches from Prism Patch Manager, this organization of patches will speed up the research process.
Required Updates feature is now integrated into the deployment and research views.
Support for multiple Management Consoles. Now you can share (be hooked into) a single Master Agent among any number of Management Consoles. This means that distributed management and reporting are possible.
Logging has been enhanced to track more events. Select what you want tracked.
